How The Remedies Can Help In All
Areas Of Life
Life is not limited to one situation or one half-hour
period per week, so in order to become truly healthy
we need to eliminate the health-damaging outlooks
from all areas of our lives as best we can.
The stress of work, school, or any number of activities
and interactions can easily lead us into all sorts of
negative moods, through no real fault of our own, and
this not only hurts our body but makes life less
enjoyable and fulfilling as well.
Since the flower remedies help bring out our true
potential and most capable selves, they can be of great
use in helping us stay positive and unaffected by life’s
difficulties, and allow us to better succeed in and
enjoy any task or activity we set our mind to—and in
the healthiest possible way.
The following pages list a few of the countless life
situations and problems that the flower remedies can
be used to help us with, along with some flower
remedies to consider as a starting point.
Of course, each person is unique and an individual,
so the actual needed remedies at any particular
moment could be far from the ones I suggest, but I’ve
tried to include some of the most applicable flower
remedies for each particular problem.
In practice, there are often many flower remedies that
can apply to the same situation, to varying degrees.
For example, if we were to get yelled at, we’d not only
likely be taken aback and feel a bit stunned, we’d also
probably get a bit angry, worked up, embarrassed, and
perhaps think back on the situation repeatedly
afterwards.
Each of these different feelings stem from the same
incident, but each would call for a different flower
remedy to help us more quickly get over them.
Our emotions can be quite subtle and there can be
much interplay between them, with one automatically
calling forth many others. Because of this, the better
we get at learning to identify which moods we are
experiencing at any given time—along with the flower
remedies to deal with them—the easier it is to get back
to a positive and healthy state of mind.
I tend to think of the remedies as being like elements
that make up the way we act and feel. Even though
our behavior or expression of ourselves can be
infinitely varied, the motivations and thoughts and
feelings behind them can be broken down into one or
more of the different remedy states.
By looking at the positive and negative expressions of
these states within ourselves, it becomes possible to
gain real insight into the way we act and feel in any
given situation, and to take the steps to improve our
health and lives by bringing out the positive aspects
that might be missing.
